Scary Movie: A year after disposing the body of a man they accidently killed, a group of dumb teenagers are stalked by a bumbling serial killer! Some of the send-ups include: "Scream", "I Know What You Did Last Summer", "The Blair Witch Project", "The Sixth Sense" and "The Matrix".

(Dir. Keenan Ivory Wayans, 2000)

Scary Movie 2: All your favourite Scary Movie characters are back in a laugh-packed sequel that scares up even more irreverent fun than the original! Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, and Anna Faris lead a stellar cast that takes extreme pleasure in skewering Hollywood's most frightening feature films and spoofing popular culture. Also starring Regina Hall, Christopher Kennedy Masterson, Tori Spelling, plus Tim Curry, Chris Elliott and James Woods - nothing's sacred and anything goes in this outlandish must-see comedy...

(Dir. Keenan Ivory Wayans, 2001)

Scary Movie 3.5: 3.5 times the laughs! 3.5 times the terror! 3.5 times the stars!

Charlie Sheen, Anna Faris, Eddie Griffin, Queen Latifah, Regina Hall and Denise Richards take Scary Movie 3.5 to new levels of twisted comedy. With the help of nonstop celebrity cameos - including Pamela Anderson, Jenny McCarthy, George Carlin, Leslie Nielsen, and a who's who of rap artists - thrillers, blockbusters, and pop culture get their best goosing yet. Rapid-fire jokes and funny bone-chilling suspense are sure signs this outrageous comedy will have you laughing your head off ... once you experience this longer, funnier, and more explicit unrated version!

(Dir. David Zucker, 2003)

Scary Movie 4: Just when you thought it was safe to go back to watching films Scary Movie 4 rears its ugly head! It's an unsavoury, hilarious treat for all comedy fans as the DVD release brings you The Uncut & Unsanitized Edition: different to the version seen in cinemas it's even ruder, cruder and more fun!

Cindy finds out the house she lives in is haunted by a little boy and goes on a quest to find out who killed him and why. Just as an added challenge, alien "Tr-iPods" are invading the world and she has to uncover the secret in order to stop them....

(Dir. David Zucker, 2006)

EXCELLENT VALUE, BUT THE MOVIES ARE HIT AND MISS!

Top 10  Reviewer Top 10 DVD Reviewer

This series is the best of the recent batch of movie spoofs, and is a master class in comedy if you compare it to the terrible Meet The Spartans, Date Movie and Epic Movie.

SCARY MOVIE 2000
This is the best of the Quadrilogy, that has many belly laughs and funny characters, Doofy being the best!
The film brilliantly lampoons Scream's opening sequence, and I know What You Did Last Summer. Most of the gags hit a bulls eye, but the ones that miss the mark don't really matter as you know there will be another joke any second.
One of the best spoof movies of the decade.
****

SCARY MOVIE 2 2001
The quick of the mark sequel, is not a patch on the first movie, in place's it seems desperate to get a laugh even using a swearing Parrot as a last resort.
Most of the Jokes miss the mark, but a few do score a bulls eye, the best being the James Woods Amityville/Excorcist gag at the start of the film.
Very disappointing!
**

Scary Movie 3 2003
The Zucker brother takes over the series, but it seems the brothers have lost there spark since Aireplane and The Naked Gun. This film is a slight improvement on the second film as it spoofs The Ring, Signs and even 8 Mile.
But it's nowhere as good as the first!
**1/2

SCARY MOVIE 4 2005
Again the Zucker brothers Spoof recent horror movies, and this time the movie is even more scatter shot in it's approach. As it sets it's targets on SAW, War OF The Worlds, The Grudge and the Village. Some of the Jokes are desperate, but now and again you can see sparks of insparation. The Tom Cruse on the sofa gag has to be the best.
This is the second best film in the quadrilogy, but let's hope it's the last.
***
A mixed bag, but for this value for money, you can't really complain.
Well worth paying out for, for a few good Laughs.

Scary movies are legendary and have started such movies as epic movie, disaster movie etc ( basically just rubbish copycat films)

I could watch 1,2 and 4 anytime unfortunatly number 3 is poor and i think the wayans know this ( i think thats why they say number 4 is the last in the trilogy) because you should just forget and 3 and watch1,2 and 4

Scary movie - 10/10
Scary movie 2 - 9.3/10
Scary movie 3 - 2.6/10
Scary movie 4 - 6.8/10

 AMAZING!

These films are great. It will have you crying with laughter. An absolute must buy! Hilarious

However, i do feel that the last Scary Movie (the 4th one) lets it down. Still funny however, but not to its full potential. An absolute must buy, and for a great price!

 Great buy.

This is a fantastic buy, all four movies have their very amusing moments, although in my personal opinion 1 & 2 are probably the best, lots of random and amusing events. Some of the stunts pulled in 3 & 4 seemed like they were trying a bit too hard to get a laugh. If you do like spoof films this is a good buy for you. I'm hoping number 5 will be a slight improvement on the last 2, but i will no doubt buy it eventually.
