It's nice to see a low budget no frills thriller that can stand up against the main stream Hollywood Blockbusters.
Frozen is one of the most tense, gripping and uncompromising thrillers of the year.
Although shot mainly up high on a ski lift the film tightens it's grip once the set of three get stranded, and the chances that they will be hung up high exposed to all the winter elements from Monday until friday makes their actions so understanding and shattering. Not only have they got to deal with the effects of cold, they also have to deal with the most graphic sickeningly real compound fractures put to screen since the ankle shattering scene in SAW III. Just when you think things can't get much worse, the snow covered mountains echo from the howl of hungry wolves. Add to this the film has the most nerve shredding high wire scene put to screen. This is not comfortable viewing, but it's just outstanding unrelenting tension for the short eighty five minute running time that's so well handeled. Also it shows that Director Adam Green has come a long way from the fun but shlocky Hatchet.
This is a must see little film, that outshines most big budget thrillers of this year.

 A chiller of a movie

I know what your thinking, its been done before, but don't slight it til you've seen it. I actually really enjoyed this movie, the acting was good, although I must say it cannot be that hard, when your just sat in a ski-lift !! The movie follows many others just like it, we get to see the characters go from happy skiers, to frozen dreamers. There are some scenes which will upset some viewers, it can be quite gory in parts, but thats part of the story. I found some parts of the movie quite moving, unlike alot of others that left me feeling let down, this movie was worth the watch. You might not want to go skiing after seeing this. The sound track was very good, and wasn't spoilt by the usual rock-pop tunes found in most movies like this. Well done to the director Adam Green. An engaging, but chilly movie 10/10

This is indeed a very nail biting thriller with some tense cringe worthy moments! And I would say this is a very believable scenario too! If you were stuck on the top of a ski lift for a week in the freezing snow and ice cold you would die no doubt and the film probes different aspects of what you might do to survive!! The film has a good cast and plays out very well, it starts out as a fun filled ski trip that turns into a night of horrors for each of them, the film has a great look and some painful moments and serves up a nice few genuine chills, Adam Green shows he can dish up good old fashioned gore in the hatchet films and good old fashioned tension in Frozen! Worth a watch for sure great film, quite refreshing and makes you think twice about wanting to get stuck anywhere!!

this is one of those movies where you need a little imagination, like the blair witch or paranormal activity, you have to imagine yourself in the place of the person/people who are suffering in order to enjoy the film and im glad to say im able to do this.the director is fantastic at making you feel the psycological and physical pain the 3 actors are put through,if you want loads of gore and action then this isnt for you, this is for fans who love psycological horror movies and this is done down to a tee...10/10
