Ford (Martin Henderson) a motorcycle-riding outlaw who wants to clear his name of drug and murder charges. The cops are after him, as are rival cycle gangs caught up in a war over turf rights. Everyone in the film is tough, cool, and has lightning-fast reflexes. Ice Cube lends some heavier-than-a-Mack-truck screen presence as the leader of the Reapers, an African-American motorcycle gang who thinks Ford killed one of their members. Sexy Monet Mazur is great as Slade, the rough-and-tumble girl Ford left behind when he had to flee the country, and whose love he's now come back to reclaim. The thumping soundtrack includes offerings by Jane's Addiction, Nickelback, Kid Rock, and Hoobastank.

Torque was a good idea by bringing bikes to the screen in the same style as The fast and furious' BUT..... there were some issues with this film, the film had some awesome bikes in, hot ladies, and some OK acting but it fell down by some very far fetched stunts such as at the end where a bike is 360'd in mid air and lands on both whells and keeps going, not forgetting to mention that the engine on the bike is ment to be a rolls royce engine from a fighter jet. I serached long and hard for this film initially but now I have seen it I can say it was not worth the effort. The film was ruined by far fetched stunts, if it was not for this I would have given it a 4 stars.

 better than rated.

yes, some of the stunts are a little outlandish. but if you're really expecting to see perfectly realistic stunts, with no sense of adventure, why not just watch world craziest police chases? it's the outlandishness towards the end that makes this film as class as it is. as for the bike powered by a rolls-royce engine, yes it really is powered by a rolls royce HELICOPTER engine to be precise, and yes it is a real, roadworthy motorcycle, produced by the company MTT, the model is Y2K. so nothing outlandish about how the bike is powered, clearly doghunter1 you have not done much research into this vehicle prior to commenting on its craziness. i felt the storyline behind the film was very good, and the whole atmosphere of it. the bikes really made this film, and there were several hot women also.

 Entertaining but no realism!

Entertaining film, which starts off excellently but the unrealistic elements of the film soon creep in. Not enough to ruin the film at first, but towards the end they get a bit ridiculous! Still, entertaining & some nice bikes / women.

I thought i would give this film a go as i thought it would be decent as it's made by the people who did fast and the furious and xxx.Sadly it is nothing short of abysmal. The acting is awful and there are some shockingly bad one liners.
