Hello and welcome to the DVD for the first series of Limmy's Show! Six episodes packed with my observations, sketches, animations and other odds and ends for your entertainment.

But it doesn't stop there. I've also chucked in hours of extras, including a picture-in-picture video commentary. So when you've finished watching the series, watch it all over again with me for all the hot showbiz gossip.

'dee-dee in the kitchen' is probably the funniest piece of television i've ever seen. The rest is just a bonus....

 Some people won't get him.

I hated him at first. Didn't think he was funny at all. Then I watched his show. He can be really funny and then he can be really weird. I guess though that some people will hate him and not find him funny which I can understand but "just don't think about it too much" as he said.

If you get it, you will never forget him!

Limmy is an acquired taste, but if you acquire said taste then you are in for many years of absolute hilarity. I've been a fan of his humour for years (since the early World Of Glasgow podcasts and his Chunk stuff), so the joy I experienced when I found out he had a series on BBC Scotland was immense! There are just no words that I can use to fully describe this DVD and do it justice, but I will try! The series is fantastic, filled with off-the-wall and abstract humour. At first, it might not be laugh out loud, but over time the quotes and scenes just stick with you. Very very dry at times, if you like Garth Marenghi's Dark Place or anything Linehan-esque then you will probably appreciate this (Limmy actually made a cameo in an episode of The IT Crowd, although I don't feel comfortable comparing the two series' as they are very different indeed!). On top of this, he has a great video commentary which is actually as funny as each episode he comments on - double the humour for the same price. In summary - check out an episode of Limmy's Show, and if you buy into the franchise, it'll be the best investment in humour you've ever made. Slapstick comedy fans, probably best avoid however!
