This has to be one of the best modern musicals of which there seems to be a big lacking of nowadays. You dont have to be a prince fan to appreciate it but it helps. I have not been a big fan of his more recent works, but watching this again reminded me why I enjoy his music overall.
Loved it in the 80's and bumped it this on play. Loved it even more this time round because of the memmories. A must have for any prince fan
WOW what a great special edition,for once it is special the picture is better than ever and the sound is amazing.this film is still as good as the first time i saw it and just a great period for prince.The features are good and worth 5 stars for the music videos alone,If you are a prince fan and never seen this film please buy now please.
this film is very under rated by the new generations of this world it is of course a classic in its own right and won many awards in its day still a firm favorite with me as a much lovin earlier prince fan. prince does act very well and the scenes with mom and dad are captivating. The sound track is phenomanal some of the best tunes ever written by prince and are still listened to widely across the world. if you have never seen this film then you should even if its just to rate it.
