This is a nice hammer horror twist of the original tale of a man, and a monstrous other personality. A doctor begins searching for the elixir of eternal life, a long-found study done by many people with little success. Dr. Jekyll however, is able to prolong the life a fly that would normally die within a small space of time, by injecting it with female hormones (pheromones). Of course, nothing is proven without human testing and Dr. Jekyll takes his experiment and search to the next level. He drinks his experiment and it turns him in to a woman, a similar - yet different person to himself. Then begins a battle of two personalities in one body. Dr Jekyll's quest to save human life and wish not to destroy it, VS Mrs Hyde who decides to kill and jeopardize his experiments to become the dominant personality in the body. Who will win? Good or Evil?
I recommend purchasing this film and finding out, because it is a refreshing spin on an original tale done very well, and is a great watch. 5/5
