More of a schoolgirl phenomenon than a proper movie - if you're not a little girl and you're on this page, you should be ashamed. I know I am.
i hated this film, ok its fine to like it, IF YOUR A GIRL! come on i watched this because i had to in german class i have to say disney is at an all time low. i would be embarassed if i was associated with this "film" im surpised it made it on to dvd or was even made. i would buy this dvd just so i could fire it into the sun

It doesn't even deserve that ONE STAR that I was forced to give it.
Don't waste your time or money. Much less BOTH.
Disney is laughing all the way to the bank with this pile of tack. Shocking acting, appalling songs, usual old plot of boy meets girl but something gets in the way. The dubbing is so bad it's laughable. And the Cheese factor is off the charts!
All I'll say is well done to Disney for making so much money out of something so cheap to produce, not to mention the merchandising!
You want a MUSICAL, watch Fiddler on the Roof, The Producers, Singing in the Rain, Hairspray, Oliver! My Fair Lady. Anything but this dross!
This is a warning, for anyone thinking about buying this film. If I had to choose the worst film I have ever seen, this would be it.
I know not everyone will agree... But, if you hate annoying music, miming, awful, tacky dance routines which make the 'actors' look complete idiots, you will agree.
Right from the beginning, one can tell this is not going to be a funny 'cheesy film'. Instead it just makes you cringe... Ah, what a shame...
Soooooo, I really would urge you in the strongest possibe way, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
