All the enchantment of Disney's Academy Award Winning film, Beauty and the Beast, continues as this classic adventure casts its song-filled spell. This magical tale reveals a Christmas past when Belle vows to warm the Beast's castle with the sprit and hope of the season - despite the Beast's misgivings about Christmas. She asks all the enchanted Objects to chip in, including reluctant Angelique - a beautiful tree ornament who was once the castle decorator. But Belle, Cogsworth, Lumiere and a host of new, enchanting friends must first undo the plans of Forte - an evil, plotting pipe organ - who gets wind of their plan. He will pull out all the stops to keep the Beast away from Belle's special gift of hope.

From the rich detail of the Beast's castle to the astounding computer-generated imagery of the villain, Forte, this beautiful tale overflows with spectacular songs, spellbinding visuals and the same state-of-the-art effects that brought Disney's original masterpiece to the screen. Now be our guest for a perfectly enchanting untold chapter in a tale as old as time.
  • Disney's Sing Me A Story With Belle: "Stick To It (Don't Give Up)" - Belle inspires children to keep try and never give up
  • Music Video: "As Long As There's Christmas"
  • Disney's Song Selection: Select your favourite songs and sing along
  • Forte's Challenge: Learn about music in this magical game

Ths story is set as a " midquel " and takes place after the Beast rescues Belle from the forest and before he gives her the library as a gift.
It opens with Mrs.Potts telling a story on who " saved Christmas " the previous year, in flashback we are shown Belle & the Beast having fun and the staff of the Castle realising that Christmas is approaching, take it as an opportunity to bring Belle & the Beast together.
However the Beast hates Christmas ( we are told in flashback a more detailed account on how the Beast was transformed ) and also hearing the news of the planned festivities is the former Court composer, Forte ( now transformed into a giant pipe organ in a part of the forbbiden West Wing and voiced by the magnificent Tim Curry ) who quickly dispatches an enchanted Piccolo ( Fife ) to learn more of the proposed " happy " plans and to prevent any further developments in the romance department, Forte clearly preferring the Beast being dependent on his music for comfort rather than the warmth of love and kindness.
The songs are great, the animation just as stunnning as the original and the same actors return for the voice work and also includes Broadway star Bernadette Peters as Angelique ( the Castle decorator now enchanted into a Christmas Tree Fairy! )
This is superb family entertainment for Christmas and always leaves my family with a warm festive glow.
Highly Recommended.

Love It Even More Than The Original Disney Classic ^^

I've seen this super lovely & festive animated movie full of Disney magic many times over.
And it never fails to keep me entertained nor get me into the Christmas spirit & feeling good.
All the popular & well-loved characters return with all their original cast voices from the first movie.
The storyline is wonderful, the score music & songs are wonderful & Forte the evil plotting pipe organ of the Beast's castle (voiced by Tim Curry) is without a doubt one of my favourite Disney villains of all time.
This movie is an under-rated masterpiece in my opinion & has to be seen to be believed.
I never tire of watching this, even when it isn't Christmas, all year round!
