'24' is an innovative television drama, where the entire series takes place in one day. Each of the 24 episodes covers one hour, told in real time.
When the head of a Mexican drug cartel is imprisoned by Jack Bauer (Sutherland), a plot ensues to blackmail the US Government with the threat of a released bio-weapon that will kill millions to ensure his release. With Palmer seeking re-election to a second term, will Jack survive this day?

This is probably the worst of the 24 series, the strong part of the whole series is the realism. The threat is totally ridiculous and not belivable. But on the positive it is still awesome but just slightly under par from the other 5
Excellent - Best yet

I never got round to watching 24 when it was shown on TV and only recently started watching the boxsets and I'm on Season 5 now. Personally I have to say that this is the best series so far. Strong performances from all the cast. Was a change to see Kim Bauer working inside CTU instead of being kidnapped by terrorists. I particularly like Chase and Michelle in this series. It had me hooked the entire way through, with great twists and turns. Excellent
The season starts, predictably, with another terrorist threat that will imminently wipe out millions of lives. The first half dozen or so episodes on the season are the weakest as far as the story goes. Some new characters are introduced and roles changed to keep existing characters in the series. That's all reasonably believable, but the writers try to surprise us with an earth shaking twist that goes a little too far. Once you enter the realm of "anything can happen" you start to wonder what's the point in watching, it may all turn out to be a dream anyway! After that, though, the story settles down and progresses well, with enough depth to it so that it remains interesting all the way through. And with enough tension to keep you glued to the screen. It's fast paced, with superb acting from Sutherland, and strong support from the other others. All in all, highly recommended viewing.
