October 1988 and small town USA is about to witness the end of the world. It's home to Donnie Darko, a brilliant but troubled teenager, plagued by terrifying visions of which he alone holds the key to the meaning.
With his class mate and soul mate Gretchen and a mysterious ex teacher, Grandma Death, he must unravel the strange occurrences infecting his school, his home and his life before a horrifying spectre known only as "Frank" can pull Donnie over the edge of his sanity.

Great film,
Some of it is hard to work out, but that just adds to the fun.
I watched this the first time with my sister and my sisters friend.
Now, i'm thirteen, my sister is 18, and my sister's best friend is 17.
I thought the bunny was really cool, and so did my sister but she did get a bit scared also.
However, my sisters friend got so scared she couldn't get up and go to the toilet by herself, so we had to go with her and wait outside.
So if you are planning on watching this, and you are a bit of a wimp, then watch it about midday.
But if you are like me, and love things that are scary, then watch it at midnight, it is so much better.
more of a puzzle than a film!
