Fight Club is based around a average office working man who has Insomnia and has to go to different meetings once a week with ill patients so that he can cry and cry and eventually go to sleep. But when another lady Marla Singer starts attending the classes he cannot cry when another faker is in the room so decided to not go when she does. Then on a business trip he meets Tyler Durden and his life will change forever. This is an extremely good films with many hidden sides to it and really good acting. You may have to watch the film 2 or 3 times to get the story properly. At the end of the film you don't want it to end and wish it could go on forever. One of the best Thriller movies i have seen in a long time.

Fight club along with Pulp Fiction is the most important film of the 90s. It tells the story of a troubled office worker (narrator) (Edward Norton) who only finds joy in going to as many self-help/dealing with terminal diseases sessions as he can. This is until he meets Marla Singer (Helena Bonham Carter) who enters his life and upsets his routine. The story progresses with the narrator meeting Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) who after a while only finds joy in the pain and adrenaline rush of a fight. This film is partly made famous for its outstanding ending which will stick with the viewer for years to come and even if you have seen the film before you will want to watch it back and discover all the amazing moments that will only become clear after re-watching. This in my opinion is David Fincher's best film to date as it shows off his easily recognisable directing style to great effect such as in Seven and also his amazing plot twists as in The Game. Overall this is one of my favourite films by one of my favourite directors, it no doubt deserved its awards and is a must watch for any movie fan.

This is quite possibly the best film ever made! Brilliant story and directing along with brilliant acting by both Brad Pitt and Edward Norton!! There are many films that i would rate 5 stars but this is probably the absolute best with an edge over all the others because it is just outstanding in every aspect. I was hooked immediately the first time watching this film, because of the brilliant story- which the two main actors just carried perfectly- there was no way i could pull away. I love this film so i reccomend it to anyone... YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT... BUY IT!!

This is one of the rarest kinds of movie in movie history. It is an adaptation that is actually better than the original book!

It's basically a cry out for people to wake up and realise that the things they own end up owning them. The casting is spot on; Brad Pitt plays a fantastic anti-hero and Helena Bonham-Carter takes to the role of Marla Singer like a duck to water.

The concept of fundamentalism is a contradiction to the capitalist values of Hollywood but I'm sure this movie, even being a protest against them, has upheld their ideals splendidly.
