I remember watching it sometime last year. I think it was on BBC 3.
It was a Saturday so there was really nothing else on. I thought the film wouldn't be that great but........I was wrong! For a teen-american comedy, this is actually great! I recommend buying it if you're into this sort of thing or if you really like Good Charlotte - enough said!

I will leave the critics to other reviewers here. Just saying that it's one of the best "coming of age" teen movies out there, with really a very nice plot.
About this DVD:
Although the description on the box states an aspect ratio of 2.35:1, the movie was actually shot in 1.85:1, and of course that's the screen presentation of this DVD has as well. So don't be alarmed to see black bars "gone".

This film has so much more than your sub standard comedys, it actually has a decent storyline revolving around a nerdy young teenager falling for his jaw dropping next door neighbour and surprisingly she falls for him too, only for the bombshell to be dropped that she used to be a porn star. The young teen is then sent on an adventure as he realises his feelings for her no matter her past, disaster follows with hilarious results, a 5 Star film.

I watched this film the other day and was suprised at how good it was, it's not like your normal hollywood teen comedy this one actually had some sort of story to it... Elisha Cuthbert is brilliant in this film as the ex-porn star who meets geeky matthew and they fall in love with each other... full of hilarious moments throughout and great characters this is a film you cannot afford to miss!!

This is a criminally underrated coming of age comedy. What could have been another average sex comedy is masterfully directed by Luke Greenfield and wonderfully acted by the entire cast.

It's a movie about love and friendship mostly. While it's quite reminiscent to great 80's films like 'Risky Business' and 'License To Drive' it proves itself as far superior.

It also boasts an amazing soundtrack that features songs from The Who, Thunderclap Newman and The Verve.

Buy it now if you haven't seen it and you'll find that the juice is truly worth the squeeze!
