'chato' (charles bronson ) a half -breed apache is forced to defend himself in a gun-fight, he wins the 'sheriff' dies.
despite it being self-defence, 'quincey' ( played by the legandary 'jack palance' ) forms a possee to track 'chato' down and 'hang him high' but, who's tracking who ? it's 'chato's land' he guids the 'possee' around in what seems to be circles.
the rules change when a number of the chasing group over-step the mark, then, the hunters become the hunted.
this is a top-notch western at a time when in the early 70's the cowboys were allowed to get 'dirty'
many of you will be able to pick out many familiar faces among the 'possee' from the big screen and from 't.v' series like 'the walton's and 'voyage to the bottom of the sea'
'western' fans...........this is a must see.
Another magnificent western that was made in 1972 by Michael Winner!
With a brilliant story, loads of action and drama, fantastic music and stars such as Charles Bronson and Jack Palance this is up there with some of the great's!!
Now nearly 40 years on it hasn't dated at all and is a must have addition to any western collection especially at the bargain price of just £3.99!!
Nice one Play, more western bargains please!!
