When "The Man" murders his brother, pumps heroin into local orphanages, and floods the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor, Black Dynamite is the one hero willing to fight all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House. Michael Jai White stars as Black Dynamite, a gun-toting, nunchuck-wielding, ladies man and soul brother.

Written and directed by Scott Sanders (marking his return to Sundance, ten years after his last film Thick As Thieves premiered) Black Dynamite also stars Tommy Davidson, Nicole Sullivan, Bokeem Woodbine, Arsenio Hall and John Salley.

This is a gem of a film, a fantastic comedy full of fresh and original ideas! You will no doubt have seen a film this mad since Kung pow or naked gun even! The cast is great, the story is hilarious and very cool, they have nailed the 70's perfect too! This is one of them films you must watch its great.

Spread the word, Black Dynamite is Comedy Gold!

I'd never even heard of this movie, but purchased it expecting the worst to be honest, how surprised am I! Without a doubt Black Dynamite is one of my all time favourite spoof/comedy films, humour is sometimes very subtle whereas other times it is right in your face, either way it is full of laugh out loud moments. A well written and made film, that I will be recommending to friends. "NO! Not the Orphans!"

 Awesome little gem

This is an awesome little gem of a film that has been severely overlooked by the masses. If you like films like Naked Gun or Anchorman, this will be your cup of tea. It is so much better than real blaxploitation films. Michael Jai White deserves a better career. He helped write and produce this film as well as play the part of Black Dynamite to perfection. Cannot recommend enough!

This is just fantastic, I caught it in the cinema, of course it's tounge in cheek but it's not so spoof as say "I'm gonna git you sukka" it's more the real deal than that. The attention to detail is just stunning you really feel it was made in the 70's, I'm wondering if period equipment and film were used? anyway only 1 moan why is the blu ray version ony R1? apart from that everyone should see this

Lets be honest - its good, not great!

Some overblown ratings for this film, with expectsations that high it won't loive up to them. Fair to say, it's certainly good fun. Worth a viw, just don't expect pure excellence, just an amusing, well done film.
