X-Men: First Class

This is a very well made comic book movie with a good story and a great cast, Michael Fassbender stole the show with his portrayal of a younger Magneto, there are several cool new mutants and a few you have seen before, good story that builds up the characters relationships and sets up the future X-men films! Good effects, any fan should love this a fantastic Marvel film, not the best this year but still a movie to see.

The first 33 minutes is a little bit slow building up the story of how Charles Xavier (Prof. X) and Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto) how they were at the age of 12 until they meet just after the World War 2 in 1947. Then you will enjoy the superhuman abilities for the next hour and half of this entertainment movie which I've enjoyed

After the dreadful Wolverine, this is a breathe of fresh air. Probably not the best one in the saga (the first prize goes to X2), it's nevertheless a good one for X-Men enthousiasts.
Its force lies in a brave choice for Magneto: Michael Fassbender steals the whole show as Erik. He is worth the movie. He had the not so easy (let's say downrigt terrifying) task to play the same character as Sir Ian McKellen. Sir Ian is probably one of the coolest men alive....well, Mr Fassbender exceeds the task and he delivers a riveting performance. You can easily see it's the same character. That's some powerful stuff.

X-Men: First Class has proven to be a great start to a possible prequel trilogy to the X-Men series. It's lovely to see the back stories of the characters and how they meet plus we meet new characters.

James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Kevin Bacon plus others make the film enjoyable all the way through and well worth the money.

I went to see this film 3 times in the 1st week of release and I never get tried of it. Oh and there is a special cameo from old friend in it as well.

i have got to say i was not looking forward to this one bit as in did not have the first class members apart from beast the others should have been , archangel , cyclops , jean and iceman . the movie however was amazing with the story , acting and effects it held my attention throughout and made way for a sequel. if this was a prequel then it would not work at all as to many flaws are clearly noticed for example in origins emma is a kid and in this an adult , beast talked to sebastian shaw in 3 and mystique friendship with charles was never noted in the other movies plus many more so im hoping this is a reboot.
