This deluxe edition of Elvis' 1968 Comeback Special embodies the most comprehensive collection of rare archive footage that chronicles the historic event in his outstanding career and contribution to music. The entire DVD presentation has been meticulously restored in sound and picture, more than half of which has never been previously released.

Disc 1: (duration 2h 40m) Available for the first time, the original Elvis television special as it first aired on NBC on December 3, 1968.

Also available in their entirety for the first time are both of the black leather sit-down shows: Elvis performing jam sessions with original bandmates Scotty Moore, D.J. Fontana and others.

Disc 2: (duration 1h 48m) Available in their entirety for the first time, both of the black leather stand-up shows: Elvis performing solo on stage.

Available in its complete raw form, used and unused takes of the 'Trouble/Guitar Man' opening of the special, Gospel production number, 'Guitar Man' and 'If I Can Dream' production numbers.

Also included is the 'If I Can Dream' show closer, an Elvis scene shot for the closing credits roll (without the credits roll), a complete taping session for Elvis' 'Huh-Huh-Huh' TV special promotional tag and the exciting new 'If I Can Dream' music video created exclusively for this DVD combining white suit finale with black leather performance footage.

Disc 3: (duration 2h 51m) All components/outtakes shot for the gospel production and the 'Guitar Man' production number.
