The Walking Dead: Season 1 (2 Discs)

This is absolutely brilliant. I missed it on TV so bought it to watch. Really good. Movie style effects and whilst some parts degenerate into soap opera on the whole it keeps moving well.

Buy it, this is a great series. Best show on the tv at the moment.

A gripping and unique season.

I had heard of the comics before, and decided to watch this season before hand - Fell in love with it immediately - It's filled with tension and drama, brilliant characters and locations. And if you're into zombies, there's nothing more suiting. This is performed perfectly, I couldn't recommend something more....

Not a big fan of Zombies but this show is just AWESOME!! Great story line and keeps you at the endge of your seat everytime you watch it. Bought this as a gift for my mum for Mothers Day and she loved it considering the fact she is so hard to buy for. Can't wait for Season 2 now =D

Definately a must get for any Zombie fan or fanette. I first watched The Walking Dead every week it aired on TV and I just had to get the DVD's to continue watching them over and over again. Will not dissapoint but keep you on the edge of your seat, one of the only Zombie films that actually goes into depth about the character and (hate it or love it) has a bit of a back story to the show. Would recommend to anyone, big Z-day fan or not.

this series keeps you hooked and is enjoyable a range of names for "zombies" and good story lines with action packee zombie scenes!!! plus if you love the show i defo recomend the comics!!!

By far one of the best boxsets ever !!!! Roll on season 2 and more !!

An ambitious, beautiful looking series, when it comes to gore, carnage and the kind of sticky, red stuff that you're meant to wear on the inside of your meat suit, The Walking Dead nails it. Totally nails it. Unfortunately, it loses a star due to some underdeveloped characters and a few pacing issues. But, really, if it's an awesome amount of zombies you're after with some of the best looking zombie effects, well, EVER, this purchase is a no-brainer!

This tv series is amazing and only problem is the season 1 is only got 6 episodes becuase i want to keep watching and see what happens next. I could see this turning into a big thing like LOST. I have started to watch it again from the beginning as its so good. At the moment there is no good zombie films they are all cheap films and crap story lines. This is a must get !!!
