5 Fantastic!CMB2693 | 21/02/2011 | See all CMB2693's reviews (21)CSI Season 10 is easily the best season of CSI to date, along with season 7! I didn't know how the writers were going to handle a whole season without the lead character of Gil Grissom, but they have handled it with ease, and have integrated Ray into the show very well. From the premiere, it is clear that the show has dealt with the issues which were raised in the second half of season 9, and have left them in the past. The team works very well together throughout this season, and team interaction is much more common, giving viewers a much deeper insight into the characters, and the bonds they have with one another. Also, the storylines this season are compelling. They range from the dark humour which CSI does so well in episodes such as 'Field Mice' to tragic, emotional episodes as with 'Lost and Found,' and episode so amazingly written and acted. It is easily one of the best episodes the show has ever done!!There is also a season long arc in the case of Dr. Jekyll, who is a riveting nemesis for the CSI's, and keeps the audience hooked throughout the season, to the fantastic two part season finale 'Dr Who' and 'Meat Jekyll.'Bill Irwin also appears in this season as the compelling Dick and Jane killer Nate Haskell. Haskell is one of the best villains CSI has created, and Irwin brings a sinister side to Haskell which makes his character even more interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing Haskell appear in future episodes.Overall, CSI season 10 is one of the best seasons of CSI to date, and a definite must buy for any CSI fan, old or new!
