After receiving a mysterious gift from her dying grandmother, Claire takes her new boyfriend home to meet her family who live on an isolated property in the country. The family reunion begins well but Claire soon becomes increasingly uneasy with her grandmother's medicated mumblings about a screaming banshee intent on coming for her during the night.

It's not long before the family's worst fears become their reality as the banshee and her army of undead arrive to unleash blood soaked fury on them all.

This is a low budget straight to DVD Aussie horror movie!! And its really very well made and has some very cool scary stuff going on, its a bit like evil dead in a way with some cool demon like effects and howling sound effects out in the countryside!! The story is pretty good and the cast is good too, its a bit on the short side running at 1hr 20min with credits, but the last hour is ghostly haunting fun with some blood and gore too, if you love small time horror gems then this is right up your street, check it out... it has some pretty good features too with a commentary and making of!!

An Australian couple arrive at the remote farmhouse she grew up on for the deathwatch for her ailing grandmother, only to discover that she has been earmarked for a visitation from a wailing banshee. While this starts off OK, it rapidly degenerates into incoherence and outright stupidity, not much helped by an overworked smoke machine and a leading lady who is laughably not up to the task. By the end of it all, you can see why the banshee wails so much.
