Mr. Popper's Penguins

Jim Carey returns to working with animals like he did in his earlier days when he put on the shades to be Ace Ventura, but this is nothing like his past Pet Detective role.
It's the simply story of a devoted but divorced realtor who seems more in love with his work than his personal life. But all things change when he receives penguins!
Its a simple story but then again its one for younger viewers. Theres a good moral to the story, a sense of coming together and being with the ones you love, finding new and old family.
There's comedy with a lot of stupid laughs, things which'll be very entertaining for younger viewers, and might just get a chuckle or two from some older ones too.
If you're a Carey fan you'll probably be a little disappointed by this movie. Although there are still some moments of classic Jim Carey in there, the majority however is just simple laughs for the kids.

Overall: It's not a brilliant movie, it's not a standout family comedy, nor is it a top Jim Carey piece, but there's still something likeable about it.
One to see, but not one for the Top 10

This is Jim Carey at his best, funny, funny, heart warming funny. The supporting cast are great, the children lovable, the personal assistant perfectly punctual with the pin point pronunciations, Angela Lansbury is a darling and the penguins adorable. A movie anyone can enjoy!

You cant beat Jim Carrey, produces a fine effort with this film, my 2 year old loves it!

I loved every minute of this film. A great family film that u all will love. I defiantly reccommend this.

I really enjoyed Mr Popper's Penguins.
While not the best or most outragious of Jim Carey's movies it's a film the whole family can enjoy.
Coming up to Christmas it just adds to the occassion and feels like a real Christmas feel good movie.
I recommend it to one and all.
