I'm writing this review as a response to the poor one which was here already, which does not truly reflect this season of House.
This season's House was superb, following brilliantly on from the tantalising ending of season 6, beginning with an exploration into the more personal side of House. Instead of this season focussing primarily on the patients, it is majorly House-centric, especially in the opening few episodes.
New characters, throughout the season, are introduced and developed and feel as though they could have been in the show for the entirity.
And, though I wont spoil it, I will say that the closing episodes of the season are stunning and will definitely draw you back in to season 8.
Lisa Edelstein (Cuddy) has already announced that she will not be returning to the cast of House in season 8, and Hugh Laurie himself will be bowing out of the show in the next season, which will probably/definitely mark it's closure.
So, for this reason, I think you should pick up House season 7. Not only will you see Lisa Edelstein's final season of House, but you'll witness one of the closing chapters of House both as a show, and an experience.
I would thoroughly recommend this show to anybody who appreciates good television.
