Watched this film one Boxing Day and thought I maybe hadnt given it a fair go. Bought because it was cheap and everyone was raving about. Well, i really dont understand why! Ok, it was watchable and some parts may have been vaguely funny, but I really dont get the hype! I think there are far more impressive comedy films out there that havent received the attention this has I truly believe people have jumped on the bandwagon. Not one I will be watching again!

I liked the Hangover movies and really wanted to like this too. However, I found it hard to care about the main character (or any of them!) Annie Walker is unpleasant, envious, socially inept, unfriendly, weak and shallow. Sad that her attempt at business failed, but if she insulted her customers as she did in the jewellers, that's no surprise. I felt she got just what she deserved. If diarrhoea, vomiting and crude sex talk makes you ache with laughter, then this is the movie for you. If like me you've just had an evil dose of the Norovirus, you'll be sure to avoid this too.

I'm a little stumped by all the hugely positive reviews because I really found this almost totally unfunny from start to finish thanks to a whole bunch of characters that aren't really likeable.

Scripted by and starring Kristen Wiig from Saturday Night Live the biggest problem is her own character Annie. She's so flat and lifeless it's impossible to root for her even a little bit. The rest of the characters aren't all that more interesting and half of it feels like a selection of comedy skits stretched out to over two hours by the thinnest of plots.

I was really surprised I found myself being this hard on it I have to be honest..............but this did utterly nothing for me at all. Not even a little bit.

The worst film I have EVER seen.

I was really looking forward to seeing this, thinking it would be a female version of The Hangover, how wrong was I. There was nothing about this film that impressed me, characters are weak, false and annoying, the 'humour' is crude and not funny, the story is weak and predictable. Save your money, this film is rubbish.

Bought this for the wife as its her type of movie. We both found it extremely boring, unfunny and would rate it no stars if we could. The worst film we have seen in ages. The trailer at the cinema made it look fantastic and very humerous but it was an absolute disappointment and a load of rubbish. Don't waste oyur money on it

I heard from so many people that this wasn't that great but I loved it!! Perfect for a night in and a glass of sparkling wine. It's funny in all the right places. I love that Melissa McCarthy is in it, she's hilarious! I didn't know Chris O'Dowd was in it, so that was a lovely surprise! If you're into chick flicks, weddings and comedy, this is a must for you. :)

Me and my wife sat stoney faced through this poor attempt at a female version of the Hangover.
