Not a great story but Kilmer was better than Keaton and the film was not so dark or fairytale.

The scene in the Batcave of Bruce Wayne dressing and going to the Batmobile was a great opener.

Shame about Nicole Kidman and Chris O'Donnell.

Nowhere near as bad as Batman and Robin....

I wacthed this many times nearer its time and really enjoyed it,it had a top cast and Val Kilmer really suited being the Batman.not only that it was funny,witty and clever but extremly entertaining.

You can never beat originals. I am saying this in comparison to the newer batman movies, Batman Begins and Batman: The Dark Knight. I am an immense Christian Bale fan, I really am, and I absolutely love the new movies, but this movie I love over all. (Even over the first two movies) xD It's an amusing blend of humour and action, with the occasional twist. To say the least, it's Epic!

This film was ok but not one of he best. You can not beat the first two batman films there were just amazing the joker was really good.. Although not a fan of the penguin but it was still a good film... The next two just totally sucked... Then they brought out batman begins which is awesome and the dark knight is even better..... Heath ledger i think easily beat nicholsons joker ....

From the first time I saw this movie, I was in love. I only decided to put a review on this because I couldnt believe that is hasnt been flooded with positive marks from users of this site.

It has a brilliant cast, a perfect mix of camp batman humour and dark energy that screams out to you. I really can not speak highly enough of this film without sounding a bit disturbed. The price tag of £10 i thought was a little steep, but its one of a handful of films that I would pay that for.

Easily my favourite batman film (havent seen dark knight yet, so no backlash on that comment, please)
