The plot thickens as Uma Thurman returns as the Bride in QT's astonishing second part to volume one.
Volume Two keeps to the style of volume one but has an entirely different tone, where the first had a very eastern tone this has the western tone which really splits the movies in opinion even though they where originally to be intended as one.
Tarantino focuses more on his dialogue rather than action in this volume, lets face it, he went completley over the top, in a good way, in the first volume and here he delivers more charecter depth and answers to questions that where raised before hand.
Uma Thurman is once again on top form as well as an excellent Daryl Hannah in the role of Elle Driver, the brides nemesis, the two come sword to sword for one of the best fights in the entire Kill Bill series, Elle Driver is both darkly hilarious and very threatening, the eye patch adds to both the threat and hilarity.
The final confrontation to be honest for me was not so much a let down i just expected a bit more, other than that it was a great end to two movies.
Overall Kill Bill volumes one and two should be watched together as intended, this is the weaker of the two volumes but still very good with great direction, amazing story-telling and powerful performances. An instant classic from the best director of our time.
