When a group of teenagers conspire to break into a test centre and steal the answers, a series of events is set in motion. The youths are made to question their motives and contemplate their real feelings about themselves and the pressures put on them to succeed academically. They begin to recognise in each other the same fears and desires, despite their diverse cultural backgrounds.

Through interaction between the six main characters, 'The Perfect Score' offers an insightful and intelligent exploration of teenage angst and the fear of failure.
