    A romantic comedy. With zombies!

Shaun (Simon Pegg) is not quite your average twentysomething. Lacking any real ambition and drifting along in a job that he hates, he drives his long-suffering girlfriend Liz (Kate Ashfield), up the wall. Despite being a very decent chap, Shaun suddenly gets a very rude wake up call when the undead begin roaming the earth (or London's Crouch End, at least) and, with the help of his slacker chum, Ed (Nick Frost), he must save Liz and his dear mum from becoming zombies! Well, that's if he can get out of the local pub...

If you come to this movie cold, it can take a while to get used to the humour - the opening pub scene starts slowly, although Nick Frost swearing and throwing pork scratchings raises a smile. However, the romance angle works well once the zombies start appearing. Like 'Hot Fuzz', although at heart a comedy, it doesn't fail to deliver the other ingredients - in this case buckets of gore.

     Anyone fancy a drink?!?

Got to be one of the best British comedies in a long time.

This film really makes fun of your classic horror movies and the stereotypical ideals that go along with them. Follow Shaun and his friends try to make it to there local pub and watch how they get themselves stuck in funny situations along the way!!!

This is a great movie that you can watch again and again that will have you in hysterics.

    Well worth buying!!!

     amazing!

one of the best films i have ever seen, it takes a whole new approach to "horror movies". Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are outstanding and if you dont laugh while watching this movie then nothing will make you laugh. buy it now, great movie that should be seen by everyone.

    amazing!

     Love it!

This will always be a classic horror film in my collection, and I actually found that it is a lot better than Dawn of the Dead. Love the acting by Simon Pegg and the overall acting by the other characters with their unwitting, hilarious survival techniques .
This is a must see film for all zombie loving fans. Don't be put off by the fact that it is funny as well as it does have its shocks and scares, so is perfect for horror lovers.
