One of the most stylish gangster movies ever made, while maintaining the gritty edge to the London backdrop. Excellent performances from best in British acting and a soundtraqck that oozes cool
At this price, it would be apt to take a quote from the film - "it's a deal, it's a steal, it's the sale of the f***ing century!!"

Top 10 DVD Reviewer

Ten years on from its initial release and it's a sad fact that this is the only film Guy Ritchie made that has stood the test of time. It may simply be that since this, every other film has been a remake - apart from that even more awful Madonna one. Whatever the reason, it's certainly true that this one has the better (and more simple) plot, and is the closest Guy came to a black comedy. The only criticism is the title, the original 'Lock Stock and Double Barreled' was much snappier.

This is possibly one of the best crime movies I have ever seen. No I'm not talking about one of the best crime movies in England, but one of the best crime movies in general. This movie has the style, the hip atmosphere, and as well as humor. I've never seen such a brilliantly dumb movie like this. It's just like hot ice. Not to mention this was Jason Statham's first full feature length film which he made an awesome performance as well. A bunch of conflict over such a seemingly humorous card game, 500,000 pounds, and two shotguns.

As with Snatch - the one liners in this film are fabulous! Of the two, I would pick Lock Stock (but I do love them both lol!!). I love this type of film, and I don't think anyone does it better than Guy Richie. I can watch this film over and over, and I just find that I enjoy it more and more. VERY funny without loosing it's gritty edge.

Just remember : Keep your hands outta my soup!
