Something wicked this way comes...

It's Harry's third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and Harry, Ron and Hermione, now teenagers, return for their third year at Hogwarts, where they are forced to face escaped prisoner Sirius Black who poses a great threat to Harry. Harry and his friends spend their third year learning how to handle Divination. They also visit the wizarding village of Hogsmeade and the Shrieking Shack, which is considered the most haunted building in Britain. In addition to these new experiences, Harry must overcome the threats of the soul-sucking Dementors, outsmart a dangerous werewolf and finally deal with the truth about Sirius Black and his relationship to Harry and his parents. With his best friends, Harry masters advanced magic, crosses the barriers of time and changes the course of more than one life. This wonderful spellbinder soars with laughs, and the kind of breathless surprise only found in a Harry Potter adventure.....

This is an absolutely superb film, the best of the Harry series to date! I cant even describe how good it is! Its is slightly more grown up than the previous two but as the actors are growing up they are improving and are definately at home in their characters. The special effects are again brilliant, especially the Dementors! They are really frightening! Newcomers David Thewlis, Timothy Spall and Gary Oldman, as Lupin, Womtail and Sirius Black are brilliant!
The bonus disc also features lots of extras, theres games, exclusive footage, interviews, how they train the animals and loads more if you put the disc in your computer!! This is a must have!

When I went to watch this film, I wasnt particularly excited as the book wasnt my favourite to be quite honest, but it is definately the best fim so far, a darkly tinged thriller - an escape from the light-hearted first two films. Goblet of Fire didnt really match up. If you could only watch one film from the first four in the series then you should choose this one!!

the one that changed my mind!!!

As a MASSIVE Lord of the Rings fan, I was against Harry Potter in the beginning. I saw the first one in the cinema and didnt like it much, then I saw LOTR and fell in love with it, however, I saw the second HP and instead of falling in love, I fell asleep half way through! So then I gave up! Then some years later, after the buzz of the Lord of the Rings trilogy had settled down, and the films had stopped, I decided to give Harry Potter another try, and I was surprisingly surprised! I watched the third one and I really liked it! Could it of been I had started to like Harry Potter after all this time? So I watched the fourth one, and loved it! I have now watched and got the fifth one on dvd and I love that too! I must just say, I think part of my dislike to Harry Potter wasnt just coz I am an Lotr fan, but it was mainly because the first two films are not great, well, not like the rest of them! I just watched the first one, didnt like it, so I gave it another chance with the second, didnt like it so gave up altogether, then I watched the third one years later and I guess it was 3rd times a charm!
