Peter Kay first came to prominence in 'That Peter Kay Thing' and followed it up with the hugely successful 'Phoenix Nights'. The Bolton lad is equally hilarious live on stage and this collection showcases Kay's two live performances at the Blackpool Tower and in his home town of Bolton.
Live At The Top Of The Tower: Filmed in Blackpool specially for this video 'Live At The Top Of The Tower' is stuffed full of classic Peter Kay routines. He asks questions that we have all often wondered about. Why do mums always buy c**p pop? Is teletext the best way to book a holiday? He also casts his eye over mums and dads, dinner ladies, Brits abroad and even the contestants on Stars In Their Eyes! Filmed in front of a packed, partisan crowd 'Live At The Top Of The Tower', is the freshest most hilarious stand up show from the country's funniest new comedian.
Live At The Bolton Albert Halls: Peter Kay's "Mum Wants A Bungalow" tour was a phenomenal success, sweeping across the country and seen by over 300,000 people. The 180 night record-breaking run in arenas and theatres lasted an epic 9 months and still left people desperate for more. Filmed in front of Peter's hometown crowd (including his mum and his nan) "Live At The Albert Halls" is guaranteed to be the funniest stand up you'll ever see!
Furthermore, the DVD incorporates the chart topping video and the biggest selling number one of 2005 - Road to Amarillo, along with an exclusive version of Amarillo and the hilarious making of the featurette, and the original video of 'Amarillo', where the infamous Ronnie Corbett fall can be seen!
