A movie sponsored by the Irish Film Board featuring a very famous stand-up comedian and all around comedy man.... can this really be a top film?!
    YES it can!
The story is very original, it instantly grabs your attention in the way its written with Lee Evans' character narrating. The story develops nicely and gives you an insight into the history and what the current situation is.
The directing is very stylish, it fits nicely with the script and helps get you on the edge of your seat throughout the film. At times the visuals are a little strange and unusual but it all adds to the disired affect.
The story is well crafted, its original and gripping, it's interesting and keeps you locked in from start to finish.
Lee Evans does a brilliant job in this film, he drops the funny man act entirely and plays a straight forward and very serious role. He's believable as the lead character, you get into his head and truly become a part of the film.
The film at times can look a little fake, theres some amatuerish acting from one of the females which causes the film to lose a little credibility.

Overall: Freeze Frame is a brilliant piece of cinema, its a movie which keeps you on the edge of your seat but manages to also get you thinking. Throughout the film you'll be trying to answer a number of questions, did he really do it? did he or she do it? what exactly is going on?!!
    Must Watch Cinema

lee is great at playing this character although you can take him serious i found him unsuspectingly funny at times, the film plot isn't bad either.

Ok film. Lee is great playing serious.

Ok film. Lee is great playing serious.
The other actors are the usual suspects in most British films. And do the usual ho-hum job.
This is Lee's most serious part but I think he is still alot better in his other serious film with Cathy Burke. I forget the title...

     Interesting...alternative...original!

Another fine performance from Evans, this time playing out a much more dark role than in previous films. But he pulls it off and gives us an absorbing portrayal as a man in an unenviable position. As we know from his stand ups his life hasn't been quite normal and so I think he was born for this type of character. Bravo Mr Evans, is there no limit to your talents? A steal at the price. Enjoy.

If you could give 3 1/2 stars i would but there isn't so i gave it 3. Lee Evans does a great job acting in this film and i would give his acting skills 5/5 but the film itself did not have a strong enough storyline to make this film a 5/5. This film does keep you interested from start to finish and was a really good watch and i loved the ending of this film. Definitely worth 3.99 and a film that wont disappoint.

     Really Good

To be honest, when I first picked this film up, I really didn't expect much, and watching Lee Evans promotions on TV at the time really put me off. But I decided to watch it anyway. And I'm so glad that I did.
After the first ten minutes, you forget completely that this is Lee Evans: Funny Man. Evans is creepy, yet completely endearing at the same time. This film is amazing.
