Danny Ocean (George Clooney) and his crew of crooks are hatching an even bigger heist....

No rough stuff. No one gets hurt. Except for double-crossing Vegas kingpin Willy Bank (Al Pacino). On opening night of Bank's posh new casino tower The Bank, every turn of a card and roll of the dice will come up a winner for bettors. And they'll hit him in his pride, making sure the tower doesn't receive a coveted Five Diamond Award. And that's just the beginning...

 Better than Twelve

Another sequel that piles on the style and forgets to have much substance; but it's a lot more enjoyable than the horrendous Twelve, and only slightly less satisfying than Eleven. More effort seems to have been spent on the plot this time, so that this film isn't just a load of fancy camera moves. However, the main strengths of this film are that it looks great, and the performances are a joy - so, if you can forgive it not matching the original twist then it's well worth a look.

 Well worth a look

"Ocean's 13" is a marked improvement on 12 which I also enjoyed. The problem with 12 unlike the first film is that it seemed like a movie made by a group of friends that was favoured in jokes and gags over the narrative in the story.

Fortunately for me I "got it" but many people didn't. "Ocean's 13" does not suffer from this problem. Sure there are a few in jokes but the film flows cohesively and is as enjoyable a heist movie that we've had since the first movie in this trilogy.

Clooney and Pitt are as solid as ever but it's actually Matt Damon that steals the show in 13.

All in all "Ocean's 13" feels like the real sequel to "Ocean's 11" and if you liked that but were not as keen on it's sequel "Ocean's 12" this is still definitely worth checking out.

We all now know Ocean's twelve was not as good as eleven. But Ocean's Thirteen almost makes up for it !
It's one hell of a classy ride. it's like hanging out with old friends, with Al Pacinio for added star power. As for the plot, if you have seen the other two movies you will know what to expect. But thats all of the fun of the movie, watching them pull off the heist. and this one pulls out all the stops. It's just a pitty that Julia Roberts is not in this one, Although to be fair She had little to do in the first movie and even less in second one. Buy this movie and you will come away with a big smile on your face. Excellent entertainment !

 Phew! better then 12

And it is thankfully! As stated 12 was a disaster.

This is obviously better then 12 but not as good as 11.

Like any sequel it tends to lose it's edge, (see it before syndrome) but one thing that does help it is, (please ladies don't hate me) there is no love interest to spoil the flow of the film. Yes Ellen Barkin is in it and looking very sexy, but she doesn't ruin the story.

The film looks sexy and dazzling, (set in Vegas afterall).

If you haven't seen the first 2 films then it doesn't matter, the film stands on it's own or as a third part.

Enjoy it as it is, a good 2hr romp with no gore/violence/real bad language and the ladies, you got Clooney and Pitt what more do you want! :-)

A very good follow up to what was a very poor Ocean's 12. The coolest cats are back with a new heist and a new plan to get at Al Pacino for doing Ruben out of money.

The gadgets and plans to get into places and thieve are certainly more entertaining than any Mission Impossible film. It's shot with such a good style (Like it was made in the 70's) and some of the shots are very interesting. It's very much an ensemble with each character sharing the screen time, but it's still the trio of Clooney (Soon to be stealing Samuel L Jackson crown of being the coolest), Pitt and Damon that run the film. The comic timing is very much in tune. However I didn't find this one as funny as the last 2, but we do get the feeling of the Ocean's 11, and it feels like you can easily forget 12.

Eddie Izzard also appears for longer than his brief appearance in 12 and is great, I wonder if they just let him improv, because he's so funny. Don Cheadle's English accent seems to have improved, although it might be 'cause he's not in it as much and Ellen Barkin provides a good comedic turn, especially towards the end of film in a funny scene with Matt Damon.

I will certainly be purchasing this to complete the collection, it's a must see, and it's got Al Pacino in it camping it up as the bad guy Banks.

It's good ol' fashioned fun!
