i thought this film was great. ignore the critics and bad reviews. ok it wasnt true to history but never said it was based on true events, it said it was about the legend of the man named Ghost! give it a chance, it is a good film and well worth watching.
Just action do not expect much more.

I have to say that I enjoyed the movie at some points.
If you like comic books, I think you probably will love it.
If you have higher expectations because the idea of Vikings vs. Native Americans sounds original and attractive please do not even try to watch it. That is the only original thing in this movie.
I bought the DVD and after I watched it I had the feeling that I had seen all that before and the director and scriptwriter borrowed bits pieces from other movies.
In my opinion it is kind of a hybrid between Apocalypto and Conan the Barbarian, trying to copy the looks of 300 but failing completely.
The worst is the story plot. It is a bit flat and there is not much originality, whoever edited the movie could have done much better and the movie historically not rigorous at all .I think also the "actor" who does main character should stick to use the sword and not try to "act".
The best is the scenery and the photography is pretty good or at least I enjoyed it.
The action is not consistent , it just goes up and down like a roller coaster so the movie cannot keep good pace and everything builds up to an end not very exciting.
In the positive side are the fights and stunts were excellent.
It is one of those movies that you watch once or twice to fill up couple of hours in a rainy day and after is left in your collection to get dust.

I wanted to see this in the cinema, I am so glad I didn't go, it is a poor film and a waste of money. I usually do not listen to the critics, this is one of the times I should have. Its a good thing it was only £5.
No atmosphere, poor dialogue.
Ignore the critics!!!!

Trust me. This film makes no sense. Far fetched action is great as long as there is a logical sequence leading up to the shinanigans but this is rather dull.
Why an invading / settling people would chase one man for so long over such a distance or how he could speak fluent nordic after 30 yrs or why anyone would think of such a pointless film, I don't know.
A film with a lot of potential, again, wasted!!
What was Karl thinking?
Fantastic.

what an enjoyable romp this movie is!after reading the reviews i was expecting a disaster.sure the dialouge may have been written by a twelve year old and the acting is ropey but the relentless action and pace more than make up for this .a must for all action fans.enjoy!
'a lot better than the critic's suggest'

just when you think you've seen some of the best 'action'
films, along comes another one.
the 'critic's' i've read do not rate this one very highly ?
this film in the tradition of great action/fantasy movie's
gives you 'graphic' fight scenes along with a struggle for
survival.
in the beginning 'one' survivor from an early 'viking' raid
is found by a 'north american ' native woman, a young
boy.
brought up by the 'indian tribe' he becomes a man eager
to prove himself as a warrior.
the 'vikings' return to raid and pilage the lndian settlements, leaving none to tell the tale.
i'm not going to enlarge on the story it's 'lord of the rings'
meets 'pocahontas' plus a bit of 'king arthur'
in short an action packed 'bonanza' of a film.
Indians v Vikings

This film is great. I really enjoyed it. Its action packed but also has emotional scenes which are quite sad. I recommend this to all who enjoy a good slash em up action movie.
