- Survielling the Southland (The Making of Southland Tales)
From The Visionary Writer / Director of Donnie Darko...
Los Angeles, 2008. Southland Tales is an epic futuristic story set over the course of three days as the city stands on the brink of social, economic and environmental disaster. A large ensemble cast of characters includes Boxer Santaros (Dwayne Johnson), an action star stricken with amnesia, Krysta Now (Sarah Michelle Gellar), a porn star with her own reality TV project, and Roland Taverner (Seann William Scott), a cop who holds the key to a vast conspiracy. Have a nice Apocalypse!

What happened here is anyone's guess. Everything Donnie Darko is this isn't. It's a mess and a waste of precious time. It failed to engage me on any level and I'm usually very tolerant of 'challenging' cinema.
There are great films in the world - this is a long, long, long way from being one of them.
A movie the rock would wish to forget

What a waste of money and 2hrs of my life.....dont let the whole from the creator of Donnie Darko fool you. This movie isnt confusing its just a poorly written, poorly put together movie with a story line thats as interesting as watching a camel take a dump!
Sorry to say..
