Resident delinquents - Simon, Kelly, Alisha and Curtis - are joined by new kid on the block Rudy for community service. Rudy gets a rude awakening in his first few days as he learns that with the keys to the infamous locker room comes a great deal of running and screaming and, in some instances, killing.

The gang are back with all-new superpowers. So just how did that trade-off with Seth the superpower dealer, go down? Do any of them have a superpower that's even a tad useful?

With Seth still trading powers, zombies on the loose, havoc being wreaked with events from the past and even more havoc being wreaked in the present, things haven't got any quieter for our gang...

ive watched misfits through from series 1. to be honest im glad for the character change in series 3. nathan wasn't my personal favourite. there is a better balance with the main characters without one appearing to outshine the others.if your a 'misfits follower then this is well worth watching.oh and as regards to the garrett review he seems to copy same review on various items and his review is more on personal preference rather than creative aspect which misfits has to offer.reviews should be unbias and informative.

Two major changes took place at the end of season two. Firstly the characters had their powers replaced with alternative powers (which are not revealed until this third season) and secondly Robert Sheehan, who played the outspoken Nathan, decided to leave the show. As a fan of Misfits I was worried that these changes could upset the balance of the show, fortunately my concerns were unfounded. Although there hasn't exactly been a shortage of superhero shows on TV in recent times Misfits continues to do things its own way by telling its own unique stories whilst retaining the series trademark dark humour. In fact, thanks to the removal of Curtis' ability to rewind time, season three is arguably the strongest yet despite the loss of many viewers favourite character.

I found it a little hard to get into this to begin with as I was a big fan of Nathan, and thought the show couldn't work without him. His unexpeced departure does slightly change the feel of the show, but not as much as I had expected, but Rudy is, however, a brilliant replacement and, if anything, works better for the dynamic of the group.
The storylines are still extremely well written and just as dark and gritty as we have come to expect, with the hilarious humour from the previous series still present, as well as the great chemistry between the cast (both old and new). The series never reaches the height of brilliance that is the first series, but I don't think anything they do ever will, as it was as close to perfect as you can get!
There are the usual slight plotholes to overlook, but overall I would definitely recommend this series, and say not to pass on it just because of the character change. It's still brilliant and easily one of the best shows on TV at the moment.
Also for Nathan fans, his farewell film "Vegas, Baby!" is included as one of the special features, a nice touch.
