Arthur Christmas (with UltraViolet)

Fantastic animation but possibly the most illjudged Christmas movie ever. The characters , bar Arthur , were all lacking in festive cheer and the spirit of Xmas. Santa doesnt care and his sleigh is but just a distant memory. The new 'idea' of spy elfs is good but directly robbed from a disney cartoon. Not a cartoon to raise the spirits and its quite boring too. Get Elf, The Santa Clause, Miracle on...., Muppet Xmas Carol , Christmas Vacation and get into the true Christmas Spirit.

Fantastic! Watched it with our 16yr old and our 3yr old. Something for everyone, and I haven't laughed at a film so much in ages. Thoroughly recommend it

This film has a fun alternative answer to the children's question of "How does he do it?" and at the same time delivers a funny family adventure written in great British humour. I imagine we will be watching this more than once this year, then pretty much every year after!

My son and I watched this the other day and he loved it. He's woken up 2 days later begging to watch it again. He loves how the elves help Santa and then how GrandSanta and the reindeers can fly.

As an 18 year old, I went to see this film twice at the cinema! (This is the first time I've ever done this with a film!)
First time I went with my 19 Year old boyfriend who loved it, the second time I went with my 9 year old brothers. Both parties found it brilliant!
Great film for all ages, definitely will be buying and I suggest anyone who reads this to as well!

Cant wait for this film to come out on dvd. Took my 6 year old daughter to see it at the cinema and we both loved it, came out feeling all christmassy. Its definatly worth buying as I think it will be one of those family films youll get out every christmas to watch over and over again,definatly up there with in my top 10 christmas family films.

Took my 5 year old nephew to watch it in cinema and we all loved it :) want to watch it in 3d as well and will definitely buy the dvd when it comes out to show my kids one day :) NOT boring for a moment!!

I can't wait for the dvd to be released: this film is amazing! The story is nice, but the setting and the characters are absolutely awsome! I saw the movie in 2D, but the quality of the image was so good that I didn't regret missing the 3D version. I agree that the opening scene of the elves delivering the gifts like in a Mission Impossible movie is one of the best ones.

What an amazing film! I was as excited as my 8 year old daughter when we watched this at the cinema. We can't wait for this to be released on DVD. It wasn't boring, it was very entertaining, fun, magical and heart warming. It will be a very special film to own and watch over and over again.

I took 3, doubting, ten year old girls and2 excited 8 year old boys, the girls loved it and kept quiet while the boys loved how sneaky the elves had to be to get it all done in time without getting a 'WAKER', It is such a great xmas film i'm going to buy the DVD too for every future christmases. I have to admit i loved this explanation of how a huge spaceship like sleigh with camoflage underside can drop thousands of elves to get the presents done all over the world in time for Christmas morning. x
