  Really Good Watch

I really enjoyed this film and decided to watch it even after reading a lot of bad reviews and I'm really glad I did. I went into it not really knowing what to expect, but thoroughly enjoyed the authentic-looking footage and camera angles it is shot from.

Granted there wasn't THAT much of a story, but I think knowing that this is supposed to be "lost" footage from a moon walk that went wrong is enough. I certainly didn't watch this with any pretense that I would believe anything that unfolded.

It succeeded in gripping me for the whole duration with pretty decent acting and a long, with bated breath, wait for some answers!

I just watched this and was captivated and entertained from start to finish. Pleased i watched this before reading some of the negative reviews which have spoilers in them. I agree that it is really for those who enjoy good sensible sci fi and this type of 'original' type of footage(cloverfield, paranormal activity etc) and for those who want to enjoy it not look for faults. I mean to say, i just saw 'prometheus' the other day which is awesome but there are even people out there who pick fault with that. Sad sad people ,lets see them do better eh ha ha. Just enjoy it as it is a great interpretation of what could be true, but obviously isn't ,its not glamourised or over the top. Apollo 19 movie would be good.

  An insult to our intelligence

This film is shockingly bad. If i had known the style was Blair Witch i would of avoided instantly. They try to claim the entire film is cut together from real footage, please, we are not that dumb. The story line and everything about this film is just awful. do not waste your money.

I really didn't enjoy this. I was expecting something a lot more shocking, and not the ''seen it all before'' type. I thought it was definitely one of the worst films I've seen ever. And if your a fan of bores, give it a try. But theres nothing good I can say about this movie.

  Crash and Burn.

Sometimes a film gets so generally slammed when it comes out that there you end up fascinated to find out of it's really as bad as all that. The you watch it and realise it mostly is. So it is with Apollo 18, purporting to reveal the 'truth' about why we never returned officially to the Moon and uses all the tricks of the 'found footage' genre in the process and just shifts them to space instead of dark woods or an exorcism. To be fair it has one or two minor moments and for a low budget it doesn't look too bad, but overall it's way too derivative of a genre that generally isn't often well done anyway and plays the same tricks.

If your a fan of the blair witch, cloverfield and filsm like this then you will enjoy this. Its a bit slow but keeps you gripped until the end.

  Apollo 18 (aka Moontrap II)

Not a bad movie, well produced, nicely executed but the story was a little predictable. Hats off to the production team for the attention to detail, but compared with the now lost movie "Moontrap" (1989) it is poor science-fiction. Please note, despite claims the movie footage is NOT authentic.

in space noone can hear you...snore

very slow to start with, gained a little bit of tension halfway through, then all became silly(crabs in space?) , i was hugely dissapointed. But the actual realism was spot on and some peolpe will be thinking "is that real???"......not me tho

  Paranormal Activity On The Moon.

I couldn't fault Apollo 18. It was original with a good storyline. With a realistic feel to it. Really entertaining and has a good few scares. It's just really paranormal activity on the moon. Ace!

This has to be one of the worst films I've seen in a long time, the build up was predictable. Then when we finally saw 'the aliens' they were nothing more than giant crabs!! Really not worth the watch. Save your money!
