Review

Academy Award winner Robin Williams delivers a brilliant performance in one of Hollywood's most compelling and thought-provoking motion pictures. Williams portrays passionate English professor John Keating, who, in an age of crew cuts, sport coats and cheerless conformity, inspires his students to live life to the fullest, exclaiming... "Carpe diem, lads! Seize the day. Make your lives extraordinary!" The charismatic teacher's emotionally charged challenge is met by his students with irrepressible enthusiasm - changing their lives forever. Magnificently directed by Peter Weir (The Truman Show), Dead Poets Society earned unparalleled praise among audiences and critics alike. Discover for yourself what all the cheering's about.

Another good film that has a brilliant actor. For some strange reason it kept me hooked along the way & had a fairly good, but not magnificent story line.

Visually beautiful with great performances from all the actors. especially those who play the pupils. I highly recommend this film. It's inspirational and moving. Brim full of emotion and laughs. You don't need to like poetry to like the film, but it helps.

A must see, not only for Robin Williams fans but for those who love a good movie that when you are through watching it you will definitely want to watch it again. I watched it years ago and it certainly was not rubbish.
