This is indeed a very cool hardcore zombie movie full of thrills and kills!! The story is great and for a low budget movie pretty original, there is plenty of brain blowing bloody gore scenes and insane zombie action to keep anyone who loves horror glued to the screen. This movie does have subtitles as its an Italian made horror, it can be a bit off putting at first as the dialogue is so quick but you easily adjust after a while and dont even notice!! This quite a gem of a horror that any fan should want to see, its low budget but pretty well spent!! There are a few good features they are subtitled too.

 Great zombie movie (and extras)

I loved this low-budget Italian movie for a bunch of reasons: it features great special fx, cinematography and post production, the story is simple and nice, the actors are good and there are gory scenes and funny lines as well. But most of all there is a nazi midget which blew me away because he s just amazing.
I was pleasantly surprised by this movie also because it doesn t seem cheap at all, well, not THAT cheap at least. I was impressed by make-up and special fx, they are really top-notch.
There is also a nice set of extras in the dvd. There is a 30 minutes making of called SUPERSHOCK which is very informative and funny because the directors and the actors are very humble and easy, they talk about everything (problems while shooting, gags on the set, technical details and whatnot) with great honesty and lots of humor.
There is also an outstanding VFX reel with a comparison between raw footage and post-produced one. Some of the bits are just stunning, there is a huge work behind it.

Finally I can say that this a very nice movie, one of the most pleasant surprises of the year, and it s also a nice dvd, with a beautiful print of the movie and a very nice set of extras, for 7.99 it s a great deal.

 Low budget, big look!

As per the other reviewers, this is a great little movie... small on budget, big on ambition. Don't let the foreign language put you off, the subtitles are good and it's not like there is an exposition-heavy plot to follow!
For me the movie encompassed the best of the 80's buddy-action flick and the raw gore of 70's video nasties [in a good way!] A little slow at times, but never un-watchable, you really do need to watch the extras at the end to see just how much they squeezed out of the minuscule budget of around $100,000 - man, that's peanuts to pull off some of the shots and scope in EATERS. This biggest thing for me is what the movie was shot on: a Canon 7D cameras. These are digital photographic cameras, not digital film cameras, which just happen to have the added benefit of being able to shoot 1080p HD video.
This movie won't be for everyone, but if you like zombies, foreign horror flicks and don;t have your sights set too high this one's a winner.
Long live the Italian horror movie!
