Really enjoyed this movie I love the original 80's movies. So when i came across this movie i was a little sceptical but This film feels the same as the oldies and really delivers. The soundtrack is wicked and really makes the film if you are also a fan of 80's movies this should not disappoint.
Very funny in places

  A very underrated movie...

Brilliant film loved the nostalgia feel of the 80's
Loved Topher and Anna Faris in the movie both are amazing actors, wouldn't say its laugh out loud through out but it is a funny movie and one that's worth a watch.

  Better than expected.

Surprisingly good , and a very watchable teen movie. Topher Grace puts in an excellent performance as lead character Matthew Franklin. Although never laugh-out-loud hilarious , the movie does have it's funny moments . It's a very smart movie , especially when compared to others in it's genre. It's sexy without being smutty. As you'd expect , set during a time when music was actually good and not atrocious like most of today's music , the soundtrack is excellent. Better than 90% of movies in it's genre , up there with the likes of Superbad.

what a waste of time....the cover lets the film down as clearly the characters to not dress like that in the film and the film it selfs was confusing as it lacked a few story lines and comedy moments...."more 80s then the 80s....sorry but it wasn't the 80s for me"

  nostalgic 80's fun....

an MIT graduate, Matt ( Grace ) finding himself at a cross roads in his life has a night to remember at an end of summer house party!
Accompanied by his twin sister Wendy ( Faris ) and best friend Barry ( Fogler ) the night will be one they will all remember as they, each in their own way, find out things about themselves, high school crushes, and their plans for the future.
If you like the John Hughes films of the 80's ( Some kind of Wonderful, Pretty in Pink, Ferris Bueller ) then i highly recommend this film, as set in 1988, it has a scorching 80's soundtrack,.is funny without being stupid and kept me and my 3 friends thoroughly entertained. As the closing credits scrolled we found ourselves searching the net for the tunes we had heard.
A fun film, great for a few friends and maybe even a date.
