Great movie but why no special features in the UK?

I loved this fikm. OK I'm a die hard Scream fan but I thought it was an intelligent and thoroughly enjoyable addition to the series. The Scream movies are all about having fun so for me all the ingredients were there. As for the pitiful UK release, those wanting special features should check out the region 1 US edition which has Alternate Opening, Alternate Ending, Wes Craven Commentary for Feature and Deleted Scenes, Making Of Featurette, Over 15 Deleted Scenes, Gag Reel.

I'm a big fan of the Scream Trilogy and was really looking forward to this, I think that is what lets it down the most and it's lack of freshness. As a stand alone movie it's okay and if it was the original it may have worked. However trying to follow in the previous 3 is it's biggest mistakes, cliched at times and despite new faces they rely on old characters to dig them out. No new ideas here, wasted opportunity and almost guaranteed to be the last entry. It's average at best couple laughs no thrills. Disappointing.

this is definatley the best since the original, ignore any bad review. the opening is top notch funny, jumpy, gory. the deaths in this film are definatley the bloodiest of the four. it is funny, but not a comedy. its jumpy and one hell of a fun ride. buy it!!!

Very unpredictable and quite scary, one dissapointment would be the suspense towards the end could have lasted a little longer but overall the film lived up to expectations

  not bad..

I gave this film a 3 star rating as it is worth a watch and is entertaining in its own right, sitting well within the film series but I sincerely hope they don't keep going and going like they did with the Saw series because it loses its appeal overall as a film series.

  I really enjoyed this movie!

I'm a collector of the scream movies so I had to buy this, It has most of the original cast which is good for a 4th, plot is kinda the same as the previous screams but it sure is fun. I loved the opening sequence too. Would reccommend if your a scream fan like me.

  brilliant

normally the original is the best and the hardest to beat but scream 4 is the best of the lot and 100 times better than number 3 which was awful.again wes craven directs and kevin williamson who wrote the first goes one better.its rather gory for a 15 cert but its brilliant both arquettes and campbell return and give great performances.there are some funny moments but the film is loaded with twists and turns and even i got the murderer wrong.whats so good about this film is anyone of about 6 people could be the murderer.overall brilliant gory fun.watch it

It's A Change In The Game

It's reminiscent of the cult 90's classic, but with a change in the game. Its been revamped and brought up to date. Scream 4 is comfortable and its so easy just to slip back into the film with our 3 main characters still intact. The twist in the film is that our new characters have been brought up in Woodsboro and they dont care about what happened all those years ago. Its something that is ridiculed by continuous films such as "Stab". Sidney (Neve Campbell) is a totally different woman, no longer the victim and definitely a worthy heroine. The film is fresh and funny when it needs to be, doesn't lack in action, and brings us slap bang into the twenty tens. A fantastic revamp.
