"The comedian of the decade" returns with a second outing for his BAFTA-nominated series.

"Britain's twelfth best stand-up comedian" delivers six self-contained sets, staged and shot to capture the real intensity of live comedy as never before seen on the small screen. See Stew discuss Charity, Crisps, Urban living, The 1980s, National identity and David Cameron, with guest appearances from comics guru Alan Moore and a giant Japanese moth.

 Britains Most Unique Comedian

For me Stewart Lee has long been the most underappreciated stand-up working in the UK. The first series of his Comedy Vehicle was unlikely to win over any new fans and the same can certainly be said for this slightly improved second series.

For the most part the cuts to the hit and miss sketches from the first season have been replaced with a mock interview with Armando Iannucci in which the pair discuss his intentions to include more jokes this time around. This is of course a response to the viewers that just don't get his brand of humour.

Those that have followed his career however will appreciate that he is truly a master of his art. His self deprecating routines and deliberately repetitive delivery may not have many punchlines but there is no one else who can take an audience on the type of intelligent comedy journey that Lee does.
