If youre a big fan of the show then you will no doubt love this movie! A must see comedy full to the top with laughs, the story follows the characters after the end of series three all deciding to go on a holiday together they will never forget (and they wont) the story fills out a few things from the last series too that were left open and wraps it up nicely at the end, lets hope for future episodes and that it dont end here! A must see film! The bluray version is an extended cut rated at 18 that is an exclusive, the DVD version is the 15 rated theatrical version.
rude, crude and utterly brilliant. this film does really hold up to the series. the lads have left school and headed abroad on holiday for sun, sea, sand, drink and hopefully sex lol. their antics will have you in stitches as its one disaster after another but that said its also heartwarming and you will care about them. brilliant.
I loved all three of the series and had high hopes for the film.
It does start slowly and does have a few bits that drag too long. But. This is an excellent film. Very very funny in places and with the same low brow comedy of the series. Shakespeare it isn't but a highly recommended addition to any collection. A perfect send off for one of the best British sitcoms for a long time.
i HATE the inbetweeners series, but i loved the movie!!! Definate for any age!! It isn't your typical teeny, sex orientated movie like the series is, its hilarious and very real, it shows exactly what a holiday with these calibre of people would be like, right down to a tee :) Even if you have doubts about this movie, watch it, it is definately worth it x
Translating a small screen half-hour comedy series into an hour and half long movie is not always easy and the last few years have been littered with failed attempts like Kevin and Perry Go Large. Fortunately, while not as consistently funny as the three seasons of television on which it is based, The Inbetweeners Movie successfully captures the spirit and humour of the show.
The movie itself finds the boys, having now left school, making their way to Greece in search of girls. Of course their dreams soon turn into a nightmare of embarrassment making for cringe-worthy, but often very funny, humour. As has always been the case the four leads show excellent on-screen chemistry and the four characters complement each other superbly. I was a little disappointed that, since the film is set outside of the school environment, we see very little of the always funny Mr Gilbert (Greg Davies) but anyone that was/is a fan of the TV show will certainly enjoy this DVD.
