MICHAEL'S BACK TO ALMOST HIS BEST !

Forget that parts 4,5 and the pathetic 6 ever happened ! This is a kind of remake/redux of the classic original, set 20 years after Myers's first massacre. Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her star making role as Lori Strode, now a mother to a 17 year old son ( JoshHarnett ) she has a failed marrage and is secretly addicted to medication after her ordeal with Myers 20 years before. She now is the head mistress of a upper class school. The story sets up as most of the kids from the school go off on a vacation. Only leaving her son , his girlfriend and a hand full of friends. You don't need to be a mastermind to figure out what happens next. But the film does play on this well trodden formula to it's full pertential. As with the original the tention is set, by the well crafted seens of Michael stalking out his victims. But when the killing starts the film rearly does stand out from the other sequels. Check out the Lori/ Michael face off from behind a window, as he stares at her, and she looks into his black eyes. This is almost as good as the original and by far the best sequel. A Slasher movie that's a cut above the rest. Well worth buying !

Halloween H20 takes place 20 yrs after the events of the first 2 Halloween films, the producers have completley ignored the H4,5 and 6 which for me was the only thing i didnt like.
Halloween H20 starts off with michael searching for Laurie who is now an headmistress at a boarding school, on halloween the kids leave and again michael myers has come for his baby sister.
So pratically steve miner who directed Friday the 13th Part 2 has a clean slate and this is the first proper sequel to Halloween II, here's my little problem, i am uncertain why they ignored 4, 5, 6 but my guessing is that either they wanted a clean slate or they wernt prowed of those sequels excpecialley 6.
so here we are H20 sets to be the first 4 star halloween film since II, the film is very entertaining and enjoyable, i liked how they reduced the gore expecialley since halloween 6 relied on gore, this film relies on what the original did suspense and good storytelling
The final confrontation between Michael and Laurie always sends tingles down my spine.
for fans of the halloween series this is a worthy one to add to your collection and for any movie fan or horror fan this again is great to add to your collection
infact Michael is back and is better than ever.

 slicing & dicing

Following the review i wrote about the halloween documentry this film is descibed as being halloween 3 forget what they did with season of the whitch thats nothing to do with this franchise.

The movie starts to explain that its been 20 years after & that laurie is now using a new identity & is the head of a boarding school where her son ? is also attending as a student.

Through the story it explains that micheal is on his killing spree at the house of a nurse to find lauries file. This is where mikey finds out laurie not only has a son but also where she is & he sends an hint in the form of a birthday card to lauries son.

Needless to say mickey makes his way to the school & he does his slicing & dicing in an attempt to get to laurie & her son.

Another great continuation in the myers series from new director steven miner.great acting from all the cast members & a very good follow up to the others.
