Nicholson gives a show-stopping performance as Melvin Udall, an obsessive-compulsive novelist who takes pride in his ability to affront, repulse, offend and wound. His targets are random, his aim reckless.
Winner of three Golden Globe Awards, two Oscars and a staggering further five Oscar nominations, As Good As It Gets is a comedy from the heart that goes straight for the throat!

Jack Nicholson's best movie. This movie got it all, romance, funny, sad. This movie do make you care about all the character in it.
A story of a lonely writer lives himself till next door guy got trouble and needed his help, things begin to change his life. And a lady he wants who works in cafe but afraid to tell her about his true side. Helen Hunt is fantastic and sexy as Jack Nicholson's love interest.
Watch this movie with anybody and we'll all love it. Pure heartwarming for everyone and a great DVD to get.

this has to be one of my favourite movies, so watchable and delightfully funny, Jack Nicolson's performance along side Helen Hunt is brill, all the charactors are so well placed they all create a good balance to there performances, an absolute must buy.

This film really is as good as it gets, Probably my favourite motion picture. It ticks every box on what a film should be, It has a story to tell and it does it with charm, wit, emotion and heart. Beautiful chemistry between Jack and Helen. The cast works so well.

Jack's portrayal of a man with OCD is nothing short of outstanding. Nicholson's charm and massive screen presents makes it a joy to watch, the story of a man who beats his disorder just though the power of love. A beautiful film. Buy it now! You won't be disappointed.

 As meandering as it gets

"As Good As It Gets" likes to think it's politically incorrect, gleefully parading its obnoxious OCD lead Nicholson as he saunters through life, insulting everyone. And while there's a great deal of pleasure to be derived from Jack's caustic turn, it doesn't obscure the fact that underneath the hood this is a very formulaic rom-com - albeit an exceptionally long one. Hunt proves to be a marvellously feisty foil to her leading (overage) man and Kinnear is surprisingly sympathetic in his first substantial role as the gay neighbour. But there's no way a basic rom-com can sustain itself over 138 long minutes without running out of puff. As this one duly does.
