A blood-soaked vision of hell on earth, The Devil's Rock is already being hailed as a modern horror masterpiece.

On the eve of the D Day landings, allied commandos set out to raid enemy positions in the English Channel. Approaching a German bunker during a night-time raid they hear mysterious noises and are compelled to investigate. Inside they find dismembered corpses strewn across the floors and occult symbols covering every surface. Only two beings remain alive - a Gestapo officer tasked with raising the forces of hell to fight for the Nazi cause and his demon slave, hungry for human flesh.

 Great B movie horror

This is a great B movie horror film, which doesn't over step its mark. The basic story line is that a allied (kiwi) two man recon team is sent to one of the small channel islands to knock out the Nazi gun there but on arrival they find more than they bargained for. The acting is good, the story is good if not a little see through(but arnt most hollywood block busters) The sets and scenes are top notch and even the effects in this are well put together and for the most part there but not obvious. Its a great little b movie expect a good cheap ride and you will come away happy and impressed!

 Turning water into...almost gold

This minor budget hit is temptingly close to perfecting the concept. The WWII theme, the setting, the short list of actors, and the gripping outcome, it is all there. The genuine scares of Evil Dead are not quite there, although the cast is well-chosen. But to their credit they dont use comic relief or cheap computer aided scares.
