The Moment Jeff Bridges became a Legend

Easily one my favourite films of all time.
Difficult to explain why, except that when you are watching the movie it just pulls you into the Lebowski world and makes you part of it.
It probably doesn't have that effect on everyone though.
Even without this element, the film boasts of a Sublime Script, Dialogues and Brilliant direction by the Coen Brothers.
And EVERY cast member delivering a Memorable performance.
But there's one man who shines above all others in this movie and that is THE DUDE himself. Jeff Bridges.
This literally is the Role he was Born top play, not sure how much acting is going on here, but it is a pure joy to watch.
The Dude will not Abide you not watching this movie. Go Get.

  EL DUDARINO!!!!

Jeff Bridges most enjoyable film so far in his career as he is the dude in this brilliant offbeat comedy. The Coen brothers havent had many enjoyable movies but this was one of those and hardly surprising with the performances of the supporting cast John Goodman, Steve Buscemi and Julianne Moore. It has a cracking plot and is one of the better drug buddy comedies around. Enjoy

hilarious ***** Coen-Brothers hit: 'not on the rug...MAN'

together with 'fargo' this movie is simply irresistable, not only because of the dude: the other characters are also well performed by a bunch of class actors who know how to get the picture right: john turturro creeps, john goodman loses control, steve buscemi is the slow one, julianne moore is the hot-piece, ....
hilariously funny and it made me try these 'white russians' the dude almost continuously drinks: one of my favourite coctails right now. cheers dude!!

The Big Lebowski is one of those films you just want to watch time and time again, the storyline, characters and the film itself is one of the greatest you'll watch.

Has a hint of stoner comedy and classification and very humoured perfectly.

I will watch this time after time.

  I hate the ******* Eagles!!!

I think I must be missing something when it comes to Coen Brothers films, I just don't hugely enjoy them the same way others do, I can see the fun in this film is that the dude played by Jeff Bridges just can't catch a break, I don't think he puts in a great performance though, John Goodman is probably the most impressive of the cast as mad mate Walter, but I just felt underwhelmed after being told by several people that it was the best film they had ever seen, nevermind

'who peed on your rug, dude?'

This film is brilliant. It's such a weird stoyline that it's actually fantastic. The acting from Jeff Bridges and Steve Buscemi is good, but for me John Goodman steals the show. I have only ever met 1 person who didn't like this film and that's probably because they only watched the last 20 minutes. It's so funny and clever....simply another classic from the coen brothers. BUY!!!
