Ok, I LOVED the Dark Knight, and was looking forward to this one sooo badly, but...and its a really sad but....this was just a bit of a let-down. Punching and kicking only gets you so far in a film. Anne Hathaway is just...wrong. And on to Bane.....I was mesmerized in the ads for the film by how terrifying he seemed, but watched it to find out he had the accent of Sean Connery after having a schmoke. Gutted is the word. Still a decent watch but not nearly what I expected.
Am I missing something or are all those rating this film watching a different version to me? Too long, too slow, terrible story line and made worse by it being presented in unlinked bits. Not in any way as good as the previous Dark Knioght films. Corney Americanisms throughout and Bane, a ressurected Darf Vadar with a stpid voice. Reminded me in bits of the first Tomb Raider game, God knows what this cost to produce but it was not that entertaining and the sound was not improved with full 5.1 or 7.1, a dissappointing film, don;t waste time or money on it.
Absolutely Fantastic movie. I really enjoyed all the action, the expolosion action between Batman and Bane. First fight in the sewers where he had his back broke by Bane. And then, after going through all the surgerys and going through all the problems he had, He finally battles Bane one more time and he put him down for good. Catwomans actions in the movie were just increidible. I had no idea that Talia was playing away with Batman and she was the one that Bane rescued and was working with Rahs Al Gaul. She was his daughter as well. But luckily enough, Catwoman came in to rescue Batman and together they both worked as a team. Catwoman loved the Dark Knight all along. Amazing finale to the Batman saga!!!!
You would be forgiven for thinking halfway through this film that you might still be watching a trailer for a Van Dame movie,what a yawn fest ! the only thing thjat stopped me from turning off and playing Arkham city ,was the hope that it might get better ! "ooh ,but it's got Bane in it" Big whoop ! a big man with a funny accent and a resperator ! stick to the first two films ,or even the Micheal Keaton Batman !
