  No laughing matter

Good comedy is about leading you down a path and creating sudden unexpected twists .
Slapstick humour of falling over etc every 30 seconds is so predictable and therefore unfunny.
I guess the jokes on us; the BBC are wasting our money on this trash.

pure quality, so funny miranda is well funny anyway but in this she is off her head in a good way, so is everyone else in it, if you do not laugh at this then you must be dead,

  Jolly Hocky Sticks

Miranda Katharine Hart Dyke, known professionally as Miranda Hart is an English actress, writer and stand-up comedienne. She writes and stars in this BBC sitcom Miranda. She has also appeared in French and Saunders and the BBC television series Hyperdrive.

This show is a sort of slapstick jolly hocky sticks comedy, and the character is a strange combination of Joyce Grenfell with a touch of Kenneth Williams and Hattie Jacques. Sounds strange I know, but somehow it works.

Throughout the shows she talks directly into camera to you the audience as if you are there with her. She is a vert tall person and uses this to her comedic advantage.

A very likeable character and show.
