From visionary filmmakers Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) comes this visceral, satisfying thriller based on Seth Grahame-Smith's best seller. Benjamin Walker turns in a killer performance as Abraham Lincoln, who must risk the presidency, his family and his life to protect America from bloodthirsty vampires. Lead by the diabolical Adam (Rufus Sewell), the vicious creatures plot to create a nation of their own - the U.S.! Thrust into an epic fight against the hideous undead killers, Lincoln must rely on those around him. But it's unclear who he can trust in this white-knuckle adventure that's ablaze with plot twists, blood-pumping action and spectacular effects!

Front start to finish this movies does NOT disappoint!

Great story line, gently twisting American history to fit this excellent plot.

This movie is full of great action scenes and a few jumpy moments too.

I cannot wait for this to be released on DVD!

 Simply amazing

I can genuinely say this is one of the best films I have seen in a very long time. From start to finish there is not a dull moment, and the story line is clever and well thought out. If you like lots of fighting, blood and vampires as well as a damn good story line, then this is definitely for you!

 Suprisingly good!

Another little gem that didnt get much praise from so called 'movie critics'.Probably one of the best vampire films i have seen in a very long time!plenty of action, the storyline is well thought out,and these vampires arent bland.Thoroughly enjoyed the 1hr 45mins it was on.

 Surprised!

When i saw the poster of this movie i did think this would be rubbish but glad i did go see it as it was So Good and the 3D was actually really good too. Plus it stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead and she's amazing.

 I'm waiting for George W.Bush W.M.D. Hunter!

Top 10  Reviewer Top 10 DVD Reviewer

The film starts off quite interesting, some great sets and you can sense Burton's Gothic touch all over the production. The film is mostly played straight much in the same way 2011's very underrated Cowboys and Aliens was and to this the films benefit. The problem lays with the vampire slaying bits as it soon becomes repetative as you seen one decapitation with an axe and you seen them all. The vampires themselves are pretty good and can walking in daylight (without twinkling!) and the CGI is impressive but vastly over used. There are some geat action sequences but with all the CGI it just feels like a computer game. The suspense is none existant but what really cripples this movie is the erratic editing. This film feels like it has been butchered in post production just to quicken the pace. There is over use of slo-mo that is used at every opportunity and to honest if it wasn't used I figure the movie would only be forty five minutes long. It's not as much fun as it should have been and will quickly be forgotten.
