This film is unbelievably good. Al Pacino blows me away in this! His presence is just superb all the way through, and I do believe that if it weren't for him, this film would be just your run of the mill, made for TV film. Mr Pacino makes this stand out and absolutely rocks it! I LOVE IT!!!

The Devil's Advocate is a modern parable, not a fright fest. However, the film is an 18 for a reason; it's a wild ride into that age-old territory, with everything that belongs to a horror-thriller. The fact is, its shot so well, and the story is so good, the moment its finished youll want to see it all over again.
Lawyers...

This film means more and more to me as time goes by. We live in a world where the law is so easilly manipulated, if you have enough money you can get a good enough law firm behind you who will help you get away with anything. Sometimes you wonder how these lawyers sleep at night.
Keanu reeves is one of those Lawyers. He faces the moral dilemma of defending men he knows are terrible criminals, but he knows his job is to make sure they get away with the crimes they have committed. He is only doing his job, but is he losing his soul by doing so?
Although the finale is a bit OTT, this is a film you are unlikely to forget.
